Ed Plaut was a freelance reporter, author, political adviser, humanitarian, and philanthropist. He loved animals, history, and politics, and passionately read and collected books. Ed devoted a lot of time developing a nonprofit to improve the economy, education, and agribusiness on the island of Carriacou in Grenada. Ed encouraged his children and grandchildren to travel and be adventurous in their pursuits. They started this scholarship to honor this legacy.
This $1,000 scholarship is available to a student pursuing the Arts and/or Humanities fields to inspire a graduating senior in the pursuit of what they are passionate about and may not have the support to follow.
