The Cameron and Jane Baird Foundation (CJBF) created this scholarship to support students who face barriers to opportunity compared to their peers. Even if progress comes incrementally, CJBF aims to level the playing field for these individuals, many of whom are first-generation, low-income students. The scholarship encourages applications from students attending two-year, vocational, or technical schools, as well as those who are undocumented, have undocumented parents, or are financially self-supporting.
Requirements: Need-based scholarship for first gen Truckee/North Tahoe area high school students
Amount: $3,000 annually for up to 4 years
