Answering our nonprofits' needs beyond grantmaking
We help our nonprofits become more productive and resilient. We design and host training programs for common needs. We work one-on-one for personalized technical assistance. With our nonprofits, our accomplishments include:
- 10 nonprofits completed the Jumpstart Accelerator Program
- 35 nonprofit employees trained in the year-long On the Verge Leadership Training Program
- 150+ board members attended Board Training Workshops
- Countless nonprofits received customized technical assistance
Facilitative Leadership
A 4-part training series for facilitative leadership led by UFacilitate and offered in both English and Spanish. Throughout the series, participants developed the concrete skills needed to lead through facilitation and collaboration including active listening, technology support and more.

Nonprofit Strategy Series: Project ACT
With the devastating impact of COVID-19 on our economy and public health, nonprofits have had to shift quickly to answer the call of their communities. Facing increased demand, small and rural nonprofits have a critical need for online training on the implications of COVID-19 on their business models. We designed this online series of webinars for nonprofit professionals to prepare their 2021 Action Plan.

This four-part workshop series teaches the best in board governance practices. We invite existing and aspiring nonprofit board members. So far, we have trained more than 150 community members.

On the Verge (OTV) Leadership Training
On the Verge is a year-long personal and professional development course designed for nonprofit professionals. It helps reduce burnout and increase community collaboration.

Jumpstart Accelerator Program
This invite-only program puts nonprofits through a rigorous organizational assessment and evaluation. With the hopes of addressing weak spots and strengthening overall capacity.

The Jumpstart Accelerator Program is a multi-year program that was piloted in partnership with Network for Good in 2016-2019. Specific nonprofits with long-standing relationships to TTCF were invited to participate. After completing a rigorous assessment and evaluation, nonprofits were assigned coaches to strengthen their capacity. This program will be run again when another round of funding has been secured.

Agency endowments enable nonprofits to establish endowments to support their work forever.

An agency fund is created by a nonprofit and held at TTCF. TTCF invests the funds to generate income for the nonprofit. These earnings can be drawn down in set annual payments to the organization, or reinvested in the fund to grow over time.
This is ideal for nonprofits who:
- Want to create permanent support
- Have a healthy operating budget with resources in reserve
- Have a broad base of support
- Have a plan for long-term sustainability
- Have donors who share in the vision of creating an agency endowment fund
